Many substances can cause an anaphylactic reaction - an extremely dangerous and severe form of an allergic reaction. Anaphylaxis symptoms include facial and oral swelling, chest pain or tightness, shortness of breath and feeling faint or dizzy. Anaphylaxis is a true emergency and requires an immediate call to 911.
